OSF: The Pods Are Among Us

We have landed in Portland, and Ashland has followed us here.

As we were leaving the hotel for the first afternoon’s adventures, what did we see but Michael Winter’s face festooned on the side of a Max train:

The text reads “I taught that kid everything he knows” with the OSF logo and name.

I’m not entirely sure why OSF is using Henry IV to sell the season; it’s a fine play and production, but Pirates and August are the big draws this year, and would seem to have a wider appeal. But, they aren’t Shakespeare, so I suppose they are out if the running for a big ad campaign. But they should be.

I hope Tufts isn’t ticked if he sees this.
