AIFF 2012, Day 4: Getting Weird, Winding Down

Sunday 15 April 2012

Day 4 is always a bit melancholy; the end of awards balloting, usually after the noon slot, means the end of the festival is coming.

Some strange stuff today:

* Locals 1. There’s always something odd in this block.

*  Family Shorts. Lots of animation, include a new (very) short by the film maker of last year’s The Mouse That Soared.

* Short Stories. I’ve actually seen most of these as a screener and/or synopsis writer, but BearGod and Vodka, and I’m Coming Over are so good I will happily pay to see them again.

* Holy Rollers. Herself mostly chose this one. It looks like it might be great–or might be very, very bad. We’ll let you know.

Little HorsesMy Best Day. We’ll see. I know Little Horses is fine; My Best Day looks promising.

See you all on line!
